FULL SERVICE DESIGN

Our Full Service Design package is a comprehensive bespoke solution that suits the needs for those seeking to optimize the full potential of their space. Perfect for homeowners who are looking to renovate or reconstruct, we'll completely transform your home into a space that is comfortable and tailor-made just for you.

This level of service is unique to each client, their budget, and their home. We will partner with builders, contractors, architects, and other trades to create a customized interior that is unique to your needs and sensibilities.

From initial concept, to project management, to finishing touches, Methods Lab will be there along every step of the way.

  • Full Service Design Packages may include the following:

    → Design conceptualization
    → Color consultation
    → Digital Design Books
    → Spacial planning
    → Custom cabinetry design
    → Digital floorplans, elevations, or renderings
    → Finishes and fixture selections
    → Furniture selections
    → Construction site visits (in the greater Southern California area)
    → General contractor & subcontractor liaison

  • As each design project is different, the duration of your project depends on a few crucial elements such as the scope of what you'd like to accomplish, and how quickly we can arrive at decisions.

    There are some elements that we have less control over, such as the availability of tradespeople or delivery times. Ordering, manufacturing, and delivery of custom furniture pieces can take anywhere from 6-12 weeks plus, for context.

    We recommend allowing a 6-month projection from your initial start date to completion.

  • After we gather all of the necessary information during your initial consultation, Methods Lab will follow up with a preliminary proposal for your project within 5-7 business days.

    Your proposal will include a detailed scope of work, our estimated fee, and any deliverables.

    We will work together to create a design plan you love that is within your identified budget.

DIGITAL DESIGN BOOK

Our Digital Design Books are perfect for those with a do-it-yourself spirit, who are interested in exploring interesting paint ideas, room layouts, or updating their furnishings and décor from the comforts of their own home.

A customized Design Book will act as a DIY action plan for your room. This is a full furnishing and styling package, which includes everything from wall color and light fixture selections down to small accessory details.

We begin with an online consultation to assess your needs and help you envision the space you desire. Your Digital Design Book will be delivered as a printable .PDF.

  • → Moodboard: inspiration images based on client’s design style
    → Custom paint color palette
    → Recommendations for decor and accessories, lighting, textiles, and materials
    → One floorplan with furniture layout
    → Interactive shopping list with clickable links, pricing, and delivery times
    → Design and room styling advice specific to your project

  • → For a single room, we deliver Design Books within 7-10 business days from the start date of your project.

    → For multiple rooms, allow up to 3 weeks for your Design Book to be completed.

  • Digital Design Books start at $650 per room.

    Add-ons such as additional floor plans, custom wall mural, or personal shopping may be purchased with your Design Book.

We understand that designing a space is an investment, which is why we also offer these items that can be purchased individually, apart from our design services listed above.

  • Fixed elements such as lighting, hardware, tiling, or flooring are key elements that bring a space together. Through vision boarding, we mindfully make selections, all while maintaining function and flow.

  • The flow of space is a crucial component in what makes a home feel stress free. We will cultivate a space of ease with the help of technical drawings and/or renderings as visual guides.

  • Accent walls are a highly impactful way to enhance an interior’s ambiance. We’ll collaborate to conceptualize how you want to feel in your space, which will ultimately decide the accents of your home.

  • Leave it to us to cohesively source decorative materials (ie: textiles, accessories, wall art) that will altogether spark inspiration and add meaningful depth to your home.
